Today we released a new mobile app to the Apple App store. Lumesse Mobile 2.0 is now available for Apple iOS in the app store. People might ask why is this a big deal - it's just another release of a product which was already launched in 2011? For me as a product marketer this release proves something more than just a new release: it emphasis a number of critical business values which are part of the foundation of Lumesse. As part of the team responsible for the rebrand of StepStone Solutions into Lumesse, I was part of the conversations about what we stand for and what value we bring to our customers. In preparation for this release there were two important pillars which stood out.

We've got some big news today. As part of Lumesse's broader 'Apps for Everything' philosophy, taking talent management beyond the browser, we have just announced the launch of Lumesse TalentLink Mobile, an exciting new mobile capability to better support enterprise talent management.

Our customers' employees, managers and HR staff will no longer have to rely on having internet access on their laptop/desktops to access key information and talent management processes. By using Lumesse TalentLink Mobile they will be able to use an intuitive mobile application on their Android, Apple iOS and BlackBerry smartphones that supports a new way of working and collaborating, bringing mobility and instant access to critical company information on people, jobs, candidates, interviews and hiring processes.

We gathered with 100 customers, partners and staff in Austin, Texas for a couple days of knowledge sharing, networking and an enjoyable ride along the way. It's a great event, brilliantly and professionally organised by my US colleagues - I'm very pleased to be here.
