Today Baker’s Dozen customer satisfaction rankings for Talent Management
software have once again placed Lumesse in the #1 position. It’s the second
year in a row Lumesse has topped the HRO Today rankings list, which are compiled
from user feedback across three key categories including, scope of product
features, market environment and quality of service.

Thomas Otter, VP research at
analyst Gartner, has just opened the HR Tech Europe conference with a talk on
'the nexus'. He described this as the coming together of many forces to create
something new.
His talk focused on the four
forces that are currently impacting on HR technology. These are: Social technology, Mobile, Cloud and Information - big data.
He told delegates that just one of
these elements on its own would be disruptive enough for business but all four
are creating enormous challenges.

To slightly steal a well-known slogan ‘the future is bright, the future is…mobile.’
For a while now I have felt strongly that mobile is going to take over. Every day you see people buried into their phones, preferring to text people over talking to them in person. These hand-held devices are out in force on busy trains, when people walk down the street or even when watching television with their families.
They are constantly on their phones 24/7 and it has fast become the latest communication platform to engage with.

From my experience talking to others about social media, ‘trust’ is clearly still a grey area.
Social media has rapidly become an essential part of campaigns and most have become scared by this sudden change. But the world of social media is forever changing and therefore I believe people need to stop being so afraid to get it wrong.
After all, missing something is just part of the learning process in social so people just need to 'ask for forgiveness not permission'.
